Apple's Security Update 2011-006 for Mac OS X Server 10.6 caused LDAP (Open Directory) issues on my Mac mini Server.
Attempting to connect to the local LDAP master through Workgroup Manager would yield error 14002.
Because of the time sensitive nature I created a new master, overriding the existing one and restored it's users/groups from a backup. Not an ideal solution but it worked.
Searching around the web I found some "solutions" but none of the quick ones fixed it. Specifically the /etc/openldap/ldap.conf edit.
