Can iPhone 7 Kill the Samsung Galaxy Note 7?

Camera

The Apple iPhone 7 features these camera specifications:

  • Front camera: 5 MP, f/2.2, Auto HDR
  • Back camera: 12 MP, f/2.2, autofocus, dual LED flash, auto HDR and 4K video recording

As of now, the iPhone 7 has the best camera on any smartphone and no one can deny it. It shoots the clearest pictures and shows very less noise on low light scenes. There is no over saturation of colors and no dark results. You can easily shoot 4K videos with the iPhone 7 for professional use or even for YouTube videos. You may need an iPhone with bigger storage though. The camera app is very easy to use and does not have any gimmicky features the Note 7 camera app has. It is just for taking photos quickly and easily.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 features these camera specifications:

  • Front camera: 5 MP, f/1.7, Auto HDR
  • Back camera: 12 MP, f/1.7, autofocus, optical image stabilization, LED flash, auto HDR and 4K video recording

Samsung reduced the megapixel count on the Galaxy S7 and they have done something similar to the Note 7. The Note 7 features a 12 MP back camera, similar to the Galaxy S7’s camera. The Note 7 camera is not very bad, but not as good as the iPhone 7’s camera. The Note 7 camera shows good results but colors in the pictures can sometimes be very saturated or too sharp which does not look nice. Pictures in low light are also not very good because they show a lot of noise. Note 7 can also shoot 4K video which would be better with a stand because you will see shakes a lot if you shoot videos by holding the phone with your hands. The camera app has a lot of features but at one point it looks like you don’t even need a lot of them and they just feel very gimmicky.

This was the answer to the ultimate question, can iPhone 7 kill the Samsung Galaxy Note 7? The answer is yes because iPhone has its own place in the smartphone market and the eyes of the consumer. The Note 7 is also a good phone but it can’t match the reliability and great user experience the iPhone 7 has to offer. Both are premium phones and come with a premium price, but it is worth upgrading to the iPhone 7.
